PILEDRIVER! by Darrin Hagen and Wes Borg. Directed by Andy Jensen.

See why the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, The Seattle Times and The Stranger have chosen PILEDRIVER! as a Best Bet for Seattle audiences!

"Performed giddily (and apparently without benefit of steroids) by a stellar cast...with a real onstage fight ring and an approximate wrestling-to-plot ratio of 3:2, "Piledriver!" culls a real, if thin, yarn from the joint fodder of small-time wrestling and sexual ambiguity...[the production] is as slick as a sweaty mat and as shiny as a championship belt." The Seattle Times, August 11, 2006

"Well-choreographed displays of macho mayhem" Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Best Bet, August 11. 2006

"Smack-talking professional wrestling comedy that body-slammed audiences" The Stranger, August 10, 2006

Playing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night through August 26, 2006 at the Capitol Hill Arts Centers. Show starts at 7:30 pm.

It's 1979, and the Western Wrestling Alliance is starting a bus tour of the Pacific Northwest. Referee Harvey Jones, his partner Killer Karl Kramer, and power couple Angie and Randy Rage are joined by new punk wrestler Rock "The Cock" Hardd. Rock lusts after the WWA belt. . . and Randy! Will this be settled in the squared circle or the bedroom? PILEDRIVER! just might be a remount in more ways than one. This time the ultimate smackdown is in the CHAC Showroom: get ready to rummmmble!

PILEDRIVER! is back with all of the profanity, body slamming, and homoerotic intrigue you've come to expect from professional wrestling. PILEDRIVER! isn't just lots of wrasslin' - death-defying, rowdy, balls to the wall, breathtaking wrasslin' - PILEDRIVER! also has real passion and heartbreak.

With Jena Cane, Timothy Hyland, John Kaufmann, Charles R. Leggett and Peter Dylan O'Connor.
